  • Offer Mentorship to SSHRC Applicants
  • Provide free criminology and forensic science
    workshops for local high schools. 
STEM Youth Outreach  (2018 - Present)
Science World, Vancouver
  • Design and deliver STEM workshops for elementary and secondary school students across British Columbia (SIS program).
  • Provide science shows as part of Science World's Bodyworks Exhibit (MAS program).
  • Guest speaker and emcee for special STEM events (LGBT2S+ STEM Day, Wonder Women Network, Girls in STEAM, etc.)
Non-Profit Board Member (2018 - 2019)
Society for Canadian Women in Science and Technology
  • Quadrupled SCWIST’s flagship Ms. Infinity programming, reaching 9,600 participants (incl. 3,200 girls and 1,100 indigenous persons).

  • Managed $200,000 NSERC PromoScience Grant, 12-member committee, 120+ volunteers, incl. organizing 30+ events.

  • Restructured award adjudication process to make scholarship program more accessible to students in non-traditional programs.

  • Contributed to long-term strategic planning, spoke at 6 public functions as a director, and served on the BC Symbiosis STEM mentoring network.

  • Wrote grants and secured $6,000 in new funding ($5,000 in grants and $1,000 from donors) to ensure the longevity of youth programming.

  • Travel across BC and to Indigenous communities to deliver all-day STEM events and workshops
