Chair for the Homicide and Suicide Victimology Panel
The American Society of Criminology 72nd Annual meeting was my first major conference presentation and first time chairing a panel! It was such a great experience to share my research on suicidal bridge jumping and to hear about the interesting work taking place at other institutions.
Walking around New Orleans was also a lot of fun. They're not joking when they say that the seafood and jazz there is incomparable. I highly recommend paying a visit to the Carmo Cafe on Julia Street for their seafood gumbo.
