Venus Pig Project & Military Vessels

This week, I got the chance to board the CCGS John P. Tully Canadian Coast Guard Research Vessel as a research assistant for the very last Salish Sea pig recovery. Funded by the Canadian Police Research Centre and Department of National Defence, seeing the million dollar rig in action was incredible. http://www.oceannetworks.ca/csi-salish-sea-completes-10th-deployment

I absolutely love working for Dr. Anderson at the Centre for Forensic Research because you never know what new opportunities are just around the corner! Being able to contribute to such an incredible research enterprise is definitely going to be one of the highlights of my year.
